New multirotor design by Trinco as an addition to his RD line. I'm lucky to be one of the early bird owner of this great design and have had enough flight hours (and crashes) with this frame that I can finally share. 

RD230 :: Mini H-Quad

Since I started flying FPV with my diy quad I know I'm not turning back. It's so much fun to get to feel the flying experience with my feet on the ground.

I just love the way it looks, the simplicity in build and how tough it is. Until now I have abused it in each time I got the chance to fly it and it can take it all.

Its A Minion - DIY Mini H-Quad for FPV

It has been a couple of month since i start involving myself with multirotor and FPV. As then trend now is minis, i dont want to be left behind. So i tried to catchup with my own design using a simple build concept that i found from the internet.

My DIY 330 Quad

It has been a while playing with my diy spider quad with kkmulticopter board and with my current power setup it seems to be on the heavy side with my fpv equipment on board and I am serious to fly fpv and looking for a new frame worth it for me to build and to house my new Afroflight AcroNaze32.
Come a friend of mine with his diy 330 aluminium frame and i find it tempting. Asking for his help on how he does it, he didn't only teach me how i can build one for myself but even gave me the aluminium needed for the build (thanx khairil).

My DIY Spider Quad

Here is my first quadcopter build. I love how the TBS Discovery looks in the air, but i can't justified it cost for me to get one. And there is Reptile frame which also looks nice in the air but again it still cost a lot for me. Then i started to look for a free plans of a TBS look a like on the internet with which i could build one for myself.
Lucky me i did find it here -http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1706111. Nick_P don't just share his plan of a spider quad for free but included a complete guide how to make one yourself in writings and a series of youtube videos.
Here is what i come out with...

My DIY Tricopter

 Last couple of years i've tried to build a tricopter base on David's build (rcexplorer.se). At that time flight control boards are still new in developement and the one that proven to work is way to expensive. So we used gyros and mixing in the radio as David did at that time. It is a challenging experience to make it fly and a big satisfactory once it does. Thanks to Myhotgears for sponsoring the build. But now with all the various flight controller available on the market have made flying multirotors a new hobby with growing fans.

KKMulticopter FlyCam Blackboard - Twincopter

A friend of mine gave me his old multirotor flight controller board to play with (thanx Myhotgears). The first thing that came into my mine is build a twin/dual copter out of it. Just to prove the concept and have the feel of it. Further more by the time i got the FC i only have two motors and two esc at hand.
Like i said, i build it just to prove the concept and get the feel of it myself.

Drongo @ the beach

Just wanna share me enjoying my Drongo seaplane parkjet by the beach at one fine afternoon. Have to wait for the wind and waves to calm down. Video thanks to buzsfivesero and pelurusilver for uploading it to youtube.

Glojet - Boxermad84 Alphajet

Its originated from Boxermad84 as Bi-jet later on called AlphaJet as it is much cooler to fly it in high alpha maneuver. But we @ Ampang Night Flying called it Glojet. It glows, it do high alphas and its sound makes the neighbors dog barking all night long. With the simplicity of build without using any spars to reinforce the wing, its brilliant design and maneuverability made us want to build one. Right after our fellow flyer Shah showed us the video of its flying. Took us couple of hours with the plan and deprons. A couple of hours more to finish building it.

Drongo Water Parkjet

Looking for another parkjet to build after polaris and i found this on RCGroups.

Elevon control with water rudder, its a must build after Polaris if your ask me. The build is simpler compared to Polaris.

Been flying it for a couple of time at the lake and some modification made to the build.

RC Eagle For Night Flying

A friend of mine brought his RC Eagle one night with no navigation led light what so ever to give it a try @ our nightflying field in Tasik Tambahan Ampang. He still able to fly it around but close as to se where its going and for the first time i fell in love with it and the builder side of my brain starts calculating the possibilities to transform it as a glow nightflying aircraft. and this is what i came out with.

Out of the excitement to see how a glowing polaris gonna looks on the lake @ nite time, i build one for a friend of mine in a week time. Successfully  flown its first flight on last saturday. Polaris (Jetset44) - Sharing Some Tips

After a couples of build, few flights with my polaris and a lots of fun on the water and at the field. Here is some tips and tricks that i want to share with all of you whos planning on building one for themselves :)

Polaris Seaplane Parkflyer by Steve Schumate (jetset44-RCGroups)

For the lake... I have built a boat (actually an airboat). I have built a sailboat. Now its time to do some flying at the lake, and i'm thinking of a parkjet that has been long listed in my build list which at that time i dont have the reason to build one as there's no near by flying site to play it. Now i have just the right reason to build one, and its a great build. You wont regret it if you decide to build one. But! Make sure you really make sure no water can get in. Else, you will end up wishing 'if only i build it better'.

Footy - DIY 12" RC Sailboat

On the first day @ Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir, a fellow member had given me the chance to try his rc sailboat which is according to him had been stuck in his store room for a decade. Somehow the skills needed to sail it cant be take lightly. It is challenging working with the nature to make the boat move in a controlled manner. Then it occurs to me there must be a way to build one  for myself. I search the net and found a sail boat class called Footy that can be scratchbuild from a 3mm depron.

Boogee (Simple DIY Airboat)

Last week the idea of playing with something floating at the newly approved rc site kind of tempting for me. For the whole week i've been searching what to build and building my new toy to take part with all the fun. Using all the parts that already scattered in my workshop i came out with this ... some parts of the build i still got to buy, but i try to get the cheapest :)

Glowings

What glows in the dark? Well take a look at this …
I started my nightflying with a diy stick plane equipped with LEDs as navigation light. And with it I only could see the navigation light in the darkness of the night sky to help me fly it without loosing the orientation of my plane. Now its just like flying the plane in the day time.

Trike/Ultralight

One day, out of a conversation with my fellow rcer. My friend hans came with this idea about building a motorize kite. He came with some concept and pictures that he found on the internet. Most of it are called trike. Taking it as a challenge, I build this in one night. most of the parts are from my previous gyro test.

This is totally something new to me n yet i started my rc involvement with helis. we know autorotation landings for helis as an unpowered maneuver which practically used to end a flying session (for most of the pros/semi pros of course. but do we ever thought that autorotation can be use to create lift n used as wing for an airplane? well thats just what this vintage aircraft does. unpowered rotor as wings. so how it works?
