Martinez V3 Brushless Gimbal for GoPro Hero3

Helping a friend with his brushless gimbals controller is quite an interesting experience. The board came with pin headers not yet soldered to it place. Searching the internet for information regarding how to connect and how to setup the gimbals itself is a challenge. But i managed at the end to get the right settings for used with a GoPro Hero3 on board. For a new technology, brushless gimbals has come to the point where every one can have a great stable aerial videos.

I am not going for the detail step, but just sharing what i've done.

How To - Servo 360 Mod

I get a lot of question as to how i did the servo mod for my rc rover. That is involving modifying a normal 9g servo to be able to turn freely on both direction.
I got the tips from a youtube channel rctestflight which happens to be the same person i got the idea to build the rc rover. The build is really cool (you can ask my son) and the modification needed is simple. Anyone with a spare servo and couple of old broken one could easily make it.

Firmware Upgrade for Turnigy Plush 40A

Again a friend of mine giving me a chance to help him with something new to us. Flashing his ESCs with SimonK firmware for his new quadcopter.
All this while i thought all the ESCs were using Atmel processor which can be flash using an USBAsp for Atmel. But after stripping his ESCs of its heatshrink and searching through the internet, seems like i was wrong. His ESCs are using SiLabs chip which is use in almost all the new ESCs design. Thus my searching begin.

What i shared here just some information on how i've done it. I might miss something important so please use this just as additional information for your own use. Do some research and fully understand what your are doing before you proceed.
