Just wanna share the way i've done it so it could be a guide to others who are searching to setup their own DJI Naza-M using the same transmitter.
His setup includes:
- DJI 330 quad frame.
- DJI Naza-M flight controller with GPS.
- JR DSX9 DSM2 transmitter with DSM Orange modul.
- Orange DSM2 7ch receiver.
- 1000kv brushless motors.
- 20A escs.
- 9x4.7 props.
- 3cell 11.1V lipo.
Initial Setting - Channel assignment.
Throttle/Ch1 - T
Aileron/Ch2 - A
Elevator/Ch3 - E
Rudder /Ch4 - R
Gear/Ch5 - U
Flap(AUX1)/Ch6 - X1
AUX(AUX2)/Ch7 - X2
Assigning the Switches.
Go into the SYSTEM MENU by powering the transmitter while pressing the ENT button.
And enter DeviceSEL.
Flap/AUX1/Ch6 is assign to FLAP LEV for X1. Will become our Basic Pitch and Roll remote gain adjustment.
AUX/AUX2/Ch7 is assign to AUX3 LEV for X2.
Will become our Attitude Pitch and Roll remote gain adjusment.
Setting the 3 position Flight Mode switch.
I've decided to set the flight mode as below -
N-Manual
1-Attitude Lock
2-GPS Lock
While connected to your Assistant software (u might need to reverse your GEAR channel):
Go to Travel Adjustment menu and adjust your GEAR channel travel for Manual mode and GPS Lock.
Go to Subtrim Menu to adjust your GEAR channel for Attitude Lock.
Setting the Failsafe/Return to Home switch.
I am using Program MIX3 to have RUDD D/R (AUX4) switch as the RTH switch.
Check with Assistant, switching it on will enter the failsafe mode no matter which flight mode you are previously in.
IOC-Intelligent Orientation Control.
I chose to use the Flap 3 position switch for the IOC control which is OFF, Course Lock and Home Lock.
First we have to make some adjustment to the switch assignment in SYSTEM MENU.
AUX are changed to Flap SW as to have the 3 position switch for IOC.
