TTAH ROV2 ... so far

After our mishap with ROV1 we decided not to stop there and build another one. This time the build is carefully done with discussion on every aspect.
With the support of our local RC Store Myhotgears, we were able to use brushless motors with reverse esc for the thrusters. Here some update on TTAH ROV2
History/Infos hereROV1 here.

Skyartec Mini Cessna Stick Mod

DJI Naza-M Quad Setup Using Er9X

In my previous post regarding Flysky TH-9x Hacked with ER9x i have included the settings that i made for a DJI Naza-M quad in the video. So in this post I'll include those exact settings that i used in the video with a clearer picture. Bare in mind that the settings posted here is what worked for me. There are two model used, which is 1. Flight modes + RTH/Failsafe + Remote Adjustment for Basic and Attitude gain. 2. Flight Modes + RTH/Failsafe + Remote Adjustment for Basic Gain and IOC both Course and Home lock.

Glojet - Boxermad84 Alphajet

Its originated from Boxermad84 as Bi-jet later on called AlphaJet as it is much cooler to fly it in high alpha maneuver. But we @ Ampang Night Flying called it Glojet. It glows, it do high alphas and its sound makes the neighbors dog barking all night long. With the simplicity of build without using any spars to reinforce the wing, its brilliant design and maneuverability made us want to build one. Right after our fellow flyer Shah showed us the video of its flying. Took us couple of hours with the plan and deprons. A couple of hours more to finish building it.

Flysky TH-9x Hacked with ER9x

The power of internet...

It all started when a friend of mine asking me to setup his Dji Naza-M on his 450 frame quad copter. Needing a 3 position switch, he opted to buy a new Flysky TH9x because its 9ch and its cheap.
Problem: Mixing a function in stock TH9x is a nightmare. The need to create a failsafe/return to home switch faced a failure due to stock firmware bugs in mixing.
Action: Flash its firmware to custom ER9x which is a godsend for diy rcers. The new firmware has make it a totally new tx inside but still the same on the outside.

Mod: Firmware flashed using arduino uno. Backlight ER9x controlled. Speaker and haptic vibration feedback.
