Yes i said we are surrounded by 12v source @ the field/lake. But its a DC source and unsuitable for our hotglue gun n soldering iron which needs an AC source. So we need to convert it. So this is how

buy a regular DC to AC converter usually use in cars with cigarette lighter plug. Cut the cable and fix it with connector of your choice on both the converter and the plug in case u want to use it in your car again. I'm using deans because all of my battery are using them. I even make an additional crocodile clips to use it directly with my car battery. 

Make sure you check your connection for which is positive and which is negative before you make your cut. I'll mark one of the wire at the point where i'm gonna cut and will cut it in between the mark for later reference. As for connecting the connector, the middle of your cigarette lighter plug is usually POSITIVE.

When operating the converter, i'll attached a battery indicator to my battery to prevent over discharging it.
