The Hunter Becomes The Hunted

Our first working prototype of TTAH ROV - ROV1 has made its last dive last sunday @Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir after two days and 6 pack of fun diving in the lake.
Although we lost it to the lake but it already proven our concept design to be working with good maneuverability in the water and under.
Plans for ROV2 is already begun. With better design for underwater safety in mind.

TTAH ROV a Community Project

It all started with one of our members at our local rc lake site (Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir) joking around about building a submarine to explore whats underneath our lake and look for those unlucky boats n planes that had rest in peace at the bottom of it. And if i remember it right, since we start using this lake as our rc spot, there has been at least 2 boats, 1 multirotor, 1 plane and 2 gopro camera lost due to various cause and sitting there to be found. As it started as a joke, i saw it as a great opportunity to proposed a community project for us at the lake and came out with the idea to build an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) which could make a dive and carries camera with it to discover what's underneath our lake or maybe try to find those missing treasure :)

PVC Pipe Rescue Airboat

My version of resque airboat targeting simplicity in build. However a friend of mine built his using pvc pipes and fittings. This kind of build can be design to be modular hence its kinda plug n play feature build in. U can detach it from home and in the mater of minutes assembly it by the lake. Its becoming a good platform for water surface FPV as well.
