SpareTime Bot

If people say 'spare time triggers your imagination', i tend to agree. Starting with spending time browsing the net with 'diy' as keyword, i came across this simple yet entertaining simple bot project.
Understanding the concept its build on, with some own creativity and spare parts laying around. I build myself a 'SpareTime Bot' which move around randomly on its own powered with an AA batery in record time.

Material used:
- micro brush motor from a micro toy heli.
- servo arm
- lead as weight
- AA batery
- hanger wire
- a scrap metal as body platform

First i rip out the micro brush motor from my old toy heli with the pinion and +/- wires still attach to it. Then drill a hole at the end of the servo horn arm to fit the motor pinion. and i put some lead at the center end of the servo horn. This way, as the motor rotates the servo horn, it will be off balance and kinda vibrating. Cable tied the motor to a metal scrap i found laying around in my workshop and with some creativity and imagination i used the hanger wire to hold the battery and shape it as legs for my bot. tape the two wires to the battery.

My son just love it, but cant leave it alone.
